Ulleri is a small village in Nepal, located in the Annapurna region along the popular trekking route to Ghorepani and Poon Hill. It has traditionally served as a resting point for trekkers and local traders, with stone-paved streets and terraced fields reflecting centuries of Himalayan agricultural life. The village provides insight into the lifestyle of the Gurung and Magar communities, whose homes and culture remain closely tied to the mountainous environment.

The surrounding landscape is defined by terraced hillsides, rhododendron forests, and panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. The terraced fields change with the seasons, displaying lush greens in summer and golden hues at harvest, while trails leading out of the village offer access to nearby waterfalls, streams, and higher mountain passes. Ulleri’s altitude and positioning make it a perfect vantage point for sunrise and sunset vistas over the Himalayas.

Ulleri exudes a calm, authentic atmosphere where life moves in harmony with the mountains. The village is modest but welcoming, offering simple lodges, teahouses, and local markets that cater to trekkers while preserving traditional ways of life.

Pokhara
Pokhara, nestled in central Nepal, sits at the base of the Annapurna mountain range and has long served as both a rest stop for trekkers and a destination in its own right. What sets Pokhara apart is the rare opportunity to see 8,000-meter peaks like Machapuchare (Fishtail) and Annapurna I reflected in the calm waters of Phewa Lake. Early mornings are often the clearest, with boat rides offering peaceful views of snow-capped peaks mirrored in the lake.
